Up to half of all women may experience a pelvic organ prolapse in their lifetime. Yet it continues to be a source of fear, frustration and misunderstanding due to the lack of support and information available to those who have been diagnosed with a prolapse!
Jessica was first diagnosed with severe prolapse after the birth of her daughter ten years ago. Since then, she has been committed to learning how to live and move with confidence and joy, even with a prolapse. She has made it her mission to use her platform to spread this information to others so that no one has to live in fear after a prolapse diagnosis.
In today's episode, Jessica will talk you through the details of what a prolapse is, the symptoms you may experience with a prolapse and treatment that may help on your journey. In the next two episodes of our prolapse series, Jessica will address how to exercise with a prolapse and, finally, the details around prolapse surgery.
